Collective Mining - True Blue Sky Potential
This stock has some of the most impressive results of the last couple years and the market is waking up to it.
The company currently has a $209 million Canadian market cap with an extremely tight share structure. The company is based in Colombia with 2 assets, the asset that is generating all the buzz is the Guayabales project which borders on Aris Mining’s Marmato Project which has over 8 million ounces.
The team involved in this company has had some real success in Colombia before, they sold Continental Gold in early 2020 for $2 billion dollars, so they know what they are doing in the country. They seem to be onto something significant again.
Collective Mining really came onto my radar in the last couple weeks, as the market has been buzzing about recent drill results. They hit over 600 metres of 1.4 g/t Au equivalent and this week they released a hole that hit 387 metres of 2.46 g/t Au equivalent, with significant copper inputs.
These are world class holes and some of the best seen in the last 2 years, check the graphic below to see some of the companies that this is comparable to, these stocks had some amazing runs. Credit to @golddiscovery1 at twitter for this chart.
The company has several discoveries on the property already, but these world class holes are coming from the Apollo target, there is 5 holes still pending in the lab, that may result in similar hits, and we can expect steady newsflow from the company moving forward. The recent hole was from surface which makes this even more intriguing, the Apollo deposit is open in all directions right now, which gives this true blue sky potential. Check the graphic below for the size of this thing already.
“The Apollo target area, as defined to date by surface mapping, rock sampling and copper and molybdenum soil geochemistry, covers a 1,000 metres X 1,200 metres area, and represents a large and unusually high-grade Au-Cu-Ag porphyry system. The Apollo target area is still expanding as the Company’s geologists find more outcrop areas with porphyry veining, breccia, and late stage, sheeted, carbonate base metal veins.”
The potential here with this one target is enormous and the market is starting to wake up to it. This could be a potential monster. With the company having 3 drill rigs turning at the property right now, expect heavy newsflow throughout 2023.
The other discoveries were significant as well and are worth noting, I will post the best hole from each target below. I would encourage you to look into these other targets as well, as they are wide open with very little drilling done so far.
Olympus Target - 300 metres - 1.11 g/t AuEq
Donut Target - 163 metres - 1.32 g/t AuEq
Trap Target - 102 metres - 1.53 g/t AuEq
Okay now let’s take a look at the weekly chart, which is also extremely bullish.
The stock broke out in a huge way this week and with its low share count, it can move very fast, if they can continue deliver these kind of assays. The stock is breaking out versus the $SPX which is always what you want to see.
There was huge weekly volume coming into the stock, the second most all time as buyers jumped in after seeing the drill results and learning more about the potential of the company. The 50 day moving average is crossing over the 30 week moving average and the stock has no resistance ahead.
There is no guarantees but this is the kind of stock I like to be involved in, huge potential here for this one to run, lots to look forward to in 2023.
