Q and A with the CEO of Copaur Minerals Jeremy Yaseniuk
With many catalysts on the horizon for Copaur Minerals in 2023, I reached out to Jeremy with a few questions on the upcoming drill program and questions I thought shareholders would appreciate.
Q : It's an exciting time for the company, with Kinsley drilling right around the corner, How many metres do you plan on drilling at Kinsley and is there room for expansion if the results are good?
We plan on drilling approximately 5000 metres but we could pivot on the fly if we encounter visible gold ….we have warrants and options in and close to the money so if that drives in more $ we can just keep going with the drill.
Q : In a previous interview you mentioned that the low hanging fruit at Kinsley would be to do proper infill drilling and get the correct spacing, what will it take to accomplish that and how much do you think we could see the resource expand from that?
It will only take a few holes maybe 2 to 3 to prove our theory correct ….however I will not speculate on the number of oz….but anyone can do the math…2.5 gpt and 535,000 oz if the grade goes to 5.gpt…that’s aprox 1m if it goes to 7.5gpt thats 1.5m…..but I do not know and quite frankly I don’t plan on putting out another resource anytime soon.
We have learned from Great Bear …….just keep drilling!!!
Q : Will the company drill any of the greenfield targets on the property? and if so where are they located and can you elaborate on them?
In the past there have been excellent oxide holes drilled with little to no follow up…check page 9 on the powerpoint we will be drilling at the yellow stars…there was excellent oxide numbers here 4 to 10 gpt and close to surface but the deeper targets will be tested as well.
Q : Why do you think previous companies haven't been able to move Kinsley forward and truly unlock its potential?
Lack of capital and lack of technical expertise, Metals group is in a completely different league as far as technical talent. (I am the dumbest guy in the room always) also I think the previous guys never had the $ because the property payments absorbed the majority of their money and nothing was left for drilling.
Q : There was discussion at one point of the company spinning out Bolo, is that still a possibility?
Everything is possible….it’s more likely that the Williams property gets spun out and leaves the company with a Nevada focus.
Q : The drilling at the Williams Project ended on a high note last year with hole WM22-02 which ended in 10 metres of 4g/t Au, will the plan be to head back to the GIC prospect and follow that up?
We can wait to keep drilling that hole deeper…the Geochem and geophysics outline a huge target…4km to 850m wide!!!
Q : Precious Metals have been performing well, while the mining stocks have lagged so far, are you noticing a sentiment shift yet? Has there been additional interest in the company and any large funds or investors coming on board?
Our private placement is oversubscribed ….we had 925,000 of cash come in unsolicited from now 10 newsletter writers!! In my 27 years of being in this industry never have I ever had more than 3 newsletter writers in any financing …..we have 10! They have written checks into this one with no obligation or commitment from the company to contract back to them…..this could get interesting!!!
Usually they might want to do a check swap or something like that….we have done nothing like that……they like the story and the grade and the management.
Q : Can you talk about who the main geologists are working on these projects and what their experience is?
We are a team…..have a look at the metals group and of course Kris and Chris from Apex….but our metals group guys are outstanding. Malcolm Dorsey , John Williamson and Ewan Webster, Alvin Jackson and cal everit too all give input….we have a great team.
Q : Insiders continue to exercise warrants and buy stock in the open market, can you comment on that?
Yep we sure do!!! I have not one free share I have purchased every share…we own about 40% with insiders officers and directors and 2 funds Phoenix gold fund out of Switzerland and Crescat.
Q : Is there anything else you would like to discuss that i did not mention above?
Remember everything has risk but I personally believe the risks are far off set by the huge upside potential on this! thanks.
I spoke with Jeremy on the phone after he had replied to my questions, he couldn’t be more excited for what's to come at Kinsley and thinks the company has huge potential upside here. They are going be drilling in the middle of some those bonanza holes from the past, he’s also very excited to have so many people interested in the company right now. I think the next few months could be alot fun for shareholders.
