Weekly Watchlist - June.07, 2025
Seen some really big moves this week in stocks previously included like Generation Mining, District Metals and Eastern Platinum.
Weekly Chart - Taseko Mines - Market Cap $1.3 Billion - Breakout
Taseko was up over 17% Friday and had very high relative volume for the week. It’s a simple formula but it often leads to big winners. The stock is now outperforming the $SPX again. Taseko runs the Gibraltar Mine in British Columbia which is Canada’s second largest open pit copper mine. Operations will continue there until at least 2044.
The Florence Copper project is also under construction in Arizona and expected to be in production by Q4, this project is low cost and expected to deliver 85 million pounds annually. The company has many late stage projects in the pipeline and recently came to a very important agreement with the First Nations on the New prosperity project. Which may explain recent price action.
Weekly Chart - Great Pacific Gold - Market Cap $62 Million - Breakout
Great Pacific had a very strong week, closing over 7% on Friday. It Had its highest weekly volume since October of last year. The company is focused on advancing projects in Papua New Guinea. They announced positive results at the Wild Dog project on June.05 as they hit 7 metres of 10 g/t Au and other assays are currently pending. Which likely explains the positive moves recently.
Weekly Chart - Reyna Silver - Market Cap $27 Million - Breakout
This stock has had a brutal run over the last few years, at one point it is was over $1.50 and is currently 10 cents. It appears a bottom may be in, the stock had a nice move this week and was up over 10% Friday and had very nice weekly volume. I don’t see any recent news that would drive this type of movement. Sometimes price can precede news in these type of stocks. All of the projects are early exploration stage at this point.
