Weekly Watchlist - Oct.12, 2025
Excited to be back for another weekly report, what a month it's been for 1911 Gold.
After a short break, I’m excited to be back with the Weekly Watchlist. Over the past few weeks, many new followers have joined who are interested in 1911 Gold — a stock I first covered back in 2024 when it had a market cap of just $11 million. Fast forward to today, and it’s sitting at around $290 million — what an incredible run it has been!
These are exactly the kind of rare trades I’m always searching for — ones that reward patience, conviction, and a deep understanding of the story behind the company. I’ve been involved with 1911 Gold since 2021, and it took several years of waiting before things really started to move. Let’s dive into this week’s watchlist.
Aldebaran Resources - Market Cap $393 Million - Breakout
Aldebaran has broken out of a long consolidation pattern in a strong and decisive move this week. The breakout was accompanied by significant volume, signaling strong investor interest and bullish momentum. From a technical standpoint, the stock is looking very promising.
The company remains firmly focused on its flagship Altar project, and investors can anticipate an updated Preliminary Economic Assessment (PEA) expected in Q4. This updated PEA will provide fresh insights into the project’s economics and potential value creation.
Recently, Aldebaran announced a strategic spin-out of its other assets in Argentina. This move is expected to benefit shareholders by streamlining the company’s focus on Altar and unlocking additional value from its non-core assets. The Altar project itself boasts a substantial resource base, with over 22 billion pounds of copper, 5 million ounces of gold, and 93 million ounces of silver in the indicated category. These numbers underscore the project’s significant potential and make it one of the more attractive large-scale copper-gold-silver projects in the region.
Overall, the combination of a strong technical breakout, a clear focus on a high-quality project, and upcoming catalysts like the updated PEA makes Aldebaran a company to watch closely in the coming months. I’m particularly excited to see the results of the updated PEA and how it could impact shareholder value.
GFG Resources - Market Cap $50 Million - Breakout
It’s been a strong week for GFG, as the stock breaks out of its recent consolidation—potentially signaling the start of another run. The company is advancing three gold projects in the highly regarded Timmins region of Ontario, a prolific area with a long history of gold production.
One of the standout projects is the Aljo gold target, where GFG has already delivered some very encouraging results. Recent drilling returned 6 g/t Au over 11 metres, and the project now spans over 600 metres of strike length, with continuity confirmed across multiple zones down to 300 metres depth.
This combination of high-grade mineralization and significant strike length positions Aljo as a very promising target for further exploration. Investors and market watchers will be keeping a close eye on upcoming drill results, which could further define the scale and potential of the Aljo project and potentially enhance GFG’s profile in the region. With a solid portfolio and strong momentum, the company looks well-positioned for an exciting phase ahead.
Element 29 Resources - Market Cap $150 Million - Breakout
Element broke out of its consolidation zone in a major way this week, with the stock reaching new all-time highs and showing strong momentum ahead. The company is focused on advancing the Elida Copper Project in Peru, a highly prospective asset in a stable mining jurisdiction.
In January, Element reported impressive drill results, including over 1,000 metres grading 0.54% CuEq. The company is currently following up on this hole, alongside other high-priority targets within its 7,000-metre drill program, aiming to expand and define the resource further.
With continued exploration and consistent news flow expected, the outlook for Element remains highly promising, and investors are keeping a close eye on upcoming results that could further validate the project’s potential.
